We are delighted to share the exciting learning journey of our Secondary 1 (S1) students in their recent workshop, “Getting to Know AI: Generating a Four-Panel Comic.” This forward-thinking activity aimed to equip our youngest secondary students with essential digital literacy and artificial intelligence skills.
✨ Highlights: Throughout the workshop, students engaged in a series of practical and interactive sessions designed to demystify AI technology. The core learning outcomes included:
- AI Literacy & Verification: Students learned critical thinking skills to distinguish between authentic photographs and AI-generated images.
- Prompt Engineering: Participants mastered the art of formulation, learning how to write precise, descriptive prompts to achieve desired visual outputs.
- Creative Execution: Applying their new skills, students successfully generated high-quality AI artwork to construct their own unique four-panel comic strips.
- Future Innovation: As a step forward, students were introduced to the fundamentals of integrating AI tools into game development.
This activity not only fostered technological competence but also sparked immense creativity and critical thinking among our S1 students. We are incredibly proud of their enthusiasm and the innovative mindsets they displayed.
