The True Light School of Hong Kong (TLHK) was honored to host a delegation from our sister school, RDFZ Xishan School of Beijing, from November 9th to 11th, 2025. This exchange proved to be a deeply enriching experience for students and teachers alike, fostering lasting friendships and valuable cross-cultural learning.

The visit was packed with thoughtfully arranged activities designed to immerse the Xishan students in the TLHK school environment and Hong Kong culture.

Key highlights of the exchange included:

November 9th: A warm welcome followed by an afternoon exploring Hong Kong’s cultural heritage with a visit to Tai Kwun and the Central Market, accompanied by TLHK students. The day culminated in a delightful exchange dinner, providing an opportunity for further interaction and bonding.

November 11th: A full day of school immersion at TLHK. Xishan students participated in classroom learning alongside their TLHK buddies in S2 classes, experiencing subjects like Science, History, English, Maths, ICT. The day also featured a school assembly with a flag-raising ceremony and performances from both schools, showcasing the talents of students from both Xishan and TLHK. Students were also given opportunities to join after-school ECA activities such as Jazz dance and Chinese Society.

Campus Tours: TLHK students led Xishan students in tours of the campus, with key facilities such as the STEAM room, Art Room, Library, and Swimming Pool.

TLHK teachers and students alike embraced the opportunity to extend sincerity and enthusiasm to our visitors, assuring them of a comfortable and memorable stay in Hong Kong. The S2 TLHK buddies played a crucial role in offering assistance in learning and campus navigation.

We eagerly anticipate future opportunities to collaborate with RDFZ Xishan School, further strengthening the bonds between our two school communities.
