On the 2023 Life-wide Learning Day, the whole form of S3 students visited the Kowloon Union Church and made friends with refugees from over 12 countries in Africa and the Middle East. These friends became coaches and held workshops for our students to learn about their music, food, language, culture and life stories. We had so much fun together!

Apart from workshops, students also went on a guided tour to the Chungking Mansions and Christian Action’s Centre for Refugees. This provides a vivid picture for students to understand what refugees would usually go through when they first arrived in Hong Kong. This experience has definitely made us be more empathetic towards these friends who are so far away from home.
