Students are tasked with proposing innovative ways to integrate natural ecosystems into dense urban areas like Hong Kong, creating ecological hotspots that promote urban habitats, wildlife corridors, or vertical green spaces. From over 100 project submissions from different schools, 10 projects from each division were selected to advance to the finale.

We are proud to announce that one STEAM Team from our school—comprising 4C Carrie BUT, 4C Sharon YUEN, 4D Crystal FUNG, and 4D Hailey POON—achieved remarkable success by winning 2nd Runner-Up in the Tramplus Building Our Future Grand Challenge 2025. Their project aims to enhance awareness of Hong Kong’s biodiversity by incorporating micro-algae cultivation at tram stations, digital displays on tram ceilings that showcase local species, and a biodiversity tracking app for users to report sightings and identify local animals with AI assistance.
