Congratulations to Cross Country Team- Overall Third Runner-up

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to the Cross Country Team for their exceptional performance in the Inter-School Cross Country Competition (Division 2). They achieved impressive results, claiming the Overall Third Runner-up position and the A Grade 1st Runner-up title. In particular, Zhang Qiaoruo from 4D and Fung Tsz Ching Christy from 6D excelled as top ten runners, finishing seventh in the B Grade and ninth in the A Grade, respectively.

This achievement reflects the perseverance and determination of our student-athletes as they completed the competition. The team is now set to strive for excellence at the All Hong Kong Schools Jing Ying Cross Country (Team) Tournament in mid-March.

Designing a Healthier Future: Students Take Home Champion Title for Smart Diet Planner

Students from across Hong Kong were invited to take part in the HSU x eClass Computing Cup, a prestigious competition organized by The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong (HSUHK). This year’s challenge tasked participants with designing and implementing an Android mobile application capable of creating personalized meal plans, displaying calorie information, and featuring a Smart Diet Planner.

We are proud to announce that STEAM Team from our school—comprising 4C Carrie BUT, 4C Karis CHAN, 4C Sharon YUEN, 4D Crystal FUNG, and 4D Hailey POON—achieved remarkable success by winning the Champion title.

Their project focused on promoting healthier eating habits through a mobile app that calculates daily calorie intake and leverages artificial intelligence to provide personalized dietary suggestions. The application also integrates a trained AI model that recognizes unfamiliar foods: when users encounter items they do not know, the system identifies them and displays the corresponding calorie information. This innovative solution demonstrates the team’s creativity, technical expertise, and commitment to encouraging a healthier lifestyle.

As the end of 2025 approaches, we are proud to announce that both our junior and senior members of our English Drama Group have reached significant milestones. They each secured First Place in the 77th Hong Kong Schools Speech Festival in the category of ‘Rehearsed Original Scene.’

Congratulations to 2C Cheng Wai Yin (鄭慧妍) for winning the Merit Award!

Competing against over 500 participants, Wai Yin demonstrated exceptional AI artistry, skillfully blending technology and aesthetics in her creative work.

This competition fosters innovation in educational technology, inspiring young talents to harness artificial intelligence (AI) for artistic expression. By highlighting the unique tourism culture of Hong Kong’s districts, it also supports the local tourism industry and businesses.

「陳贊一博士聯校微型小說創作獎」旨在鼓勵學生透過微型小說這種以小見大、精巧、別致的文學形式，提升青少年的觀察、思考、歸納、反省、創作與寫作的能力。

2024-2025年第十一屆賽事以｢父愛˙母愛」為主題，本校中文科喜獲賽事中的兩項大獎，分別是S4D(去年班別)謝康晴同學憑作品〈手與手把〉奪得高中組冠軍，S2B(去年班別)馬學瑜同學以作品〈父愛〉奪得初中組亞軍。再次恭喜兩位同學獲取佳績！
